SUPER TUSCANS

The term "Super Tuscan" describes any Tuscan red wine that does not adhere to traditional blending laws for the region. Super Tuscans often use other grapes, especially cabernet sauvignon, making them ineligible for DOC(G) classification under the traditional rules.
